FHA is getting more expensive after April 5th
Important changes are coming to the FHA mortgage program this week, here are the two big ones:
1. Upfront Mortgage insurance premium goes to 2.25% from 1.75%
2. Seller paid credits lowered from 6% to 3% of purchase price

Tax credit deadline approaching!
In order to qualify for the first time buyer and move up tax credit buyers must be in contract by April 30th, 2010. We’re already starting to see an increase in buyer activity and we expect this to be a busy month. If you’ve been thinking of buying don’t hesitate to call me at 503.901.8100.
