Flannel sheets, Horse races, Sweaters: Fall in Portland… Time to take photos?

Portland Oregon Fall Colors View

It’s that time of year again in Portland; the weather cools, the sweaters and flannel sheets come out of their Summer slumber, and the Horses start racing at Portland Meadows. [I almost broke even!] I wanted to share this photo taken from my office today of NE Seventh Ave. This is one of my favorite times of year and I wanted to share an idea with you regarding marketing your home.

One of the best ways to market your home is to make sure that buyers connect it to a positive emotion. This is why some open houses have fresh cookies and coffee, or the smell of freshly cleaned laundry is in the air. Two of the best times to photograph your home are Spring when everything is blooming and green and right now! The Fall colors always bring thoughts of holiday cheer and all the season brings.

So, take a minute to get some good photos of your home while the trees are full and bright!
